Thea Pearce Bio PicThea Pearce: Committee Member

We spent 10 years in Gove before coming to Darwin in 1994, and now my husband Geoff and I jointly own and operate the Barbeques Galore Store at the Jape Homemaker Village in Millner, which makes for a very busy worklife.

We are very lucky to have four children, and three absolutely beautiful grandchildren. Our eldest daughter lives in New Zealand, although the other three are close to home at the moment and all live in the Darwin area.

I have been involved with and enjoyed assisting Variety in Darwin for the last 6 years, and was Chairperson of the Appeals Committee for some time last year. I found it a very rewarding experience and am now happy to be part of Variety NT's Board.
